You want
- 2 bananas, peel (for best results, bananas should be ripe but not soft)
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 4 scoops of vanilla ice cream
- 4 tablespoons chocolate sauce, warm
- 4 tablespoons roasted and salted peanuts finely chopped
How to do it
1. Heat a grill or roasting pan over medium heat.
2. Cut the banana in half lengthwise, be sure to leave it in half.
3. Cover the cut side of the banana with brown sugar, press into the sugar garnish with your fingers.
4. Place the bananas on a wire rack, cut to the side, and fry for 3 minutes until the caramelized brown and crusts are dark brown. Flip and fry for another 2 to 3 minutes until the bananas are fully heated but hard.
5. Top with ice cream with hot chocolate sauce and a handful of peanuts.
